Today we are celebrating our 13th year of marriage. It's been a long road, but, well worth it!!!
Here's a few photo's.
(Sorry, I don't have a scanner. I had to take pictures of previously scanned photos. )
Wow, we look like babies. Hey... we were babies, we were only 20!
A Bride...
A Promise...
The beginning of many laughs we've shared.
Dave, I love you...here's to many more!

Prayer Request
Yesterday was my longer run. Yes...we ran eight miles! Hooray for Liz and I, but not my knee. I'm scheduled to work on speed runs these next few days starting tomorrow. I'm limping a bit and don't know why or what has happened. I can use all the prayers I can get for quick healing. My running is very crucial these next few weeks to get me ready for my half marathon.
Thank you!
P.S. Mom if you are reading this I didn't tell you last night because I didn't want you to worry :(

HELP, HELP, HELP ! ! !
I have lost my editors toolbar. I've clicked on compose and edit html. Neither are showing the toolbar that was once there. I have no idea what I did or how, but I need it back.
Can anyone help me?

My little buddy :)
So...with some inspiration from Liz I decided a couple weeks ago to train for a 1/2 marathon. I have five more weeks to get ready. Oh dear what am I getting myself into?
Liz and I will be running partners for my longer runs on Tuesdays, but, that still leaves me three other days on my own. Due to our Oregon weather I have to take advantage of any sun breaks. I've got myself a new new partner for these kind of days. She's super cute and manages to stay 2 steps ahead of me at all times.
Meet my running partner, Kaia. Well two partners...bear goes everywhere Kaia goes :)
I had to convert this picture in Black and White due to my lack of make-up and wavy wake up hair.
Even when Kaia falls asleep she still manages to beat me. Not fair!!!

My Baby Sister Is 28
Loreena, Happy Birthday! I love you so much. I know you hate sappy comments, so I'm keeping this short and sweet.
As a little girl you were stubborn...
Today, you are still stubborn, but, we love you regardless. You're a wonderful mother to Mallory, a sister that understands me when no one else does and a auntie that my girls can't wait to see again after you leave.
You've come a long way baby!!!
(You smile now in pictures :)
Have a wonderful birthday "Snuffy"!

My sister and I went to Washington Square and took Santa photos of the girls. We have some of the wimpiest girls.
This year was Jasmynn's first photo with him. She has been terrified in the past. Luckily for her she had a little sister to play hero to, so she was all for it. As you can see, Kaia was not thrilled. Poor Kaia....she was so scared, I felt so bad. I guess not too bad because I was going to get that picture no matter what!

I Got Elfed!!!
This is hilarious! A friend sent me an e-mail with her kids "Elfed". I was laughing for about 10 minutes.
Had to try it out myself and share.
Happy Holidays from the "Wolcotts."

Woo-hoo!!!
Not a big deal to most people but I'm so excited for this. I'm so there with you Liz. I agree after 10 years of marriage an "anniversary shower" is due. My 10 year anniversary was almost 3 years ago this December and we were in desperate need of a toaster. It's a bit embarrassing to show what my toaster looked like...but here it is.
And here is my new one...still not that fancy, but sure beats the old one.
How fun would it be to register for an "anniversary shower". I would go nuts now that I'm older and know what I would actually need and use.
What sort of things would you put on your "registry" if you could do it all over again?

Homework
What is your motto?
Lately...I'm just trying to tell myself "tomorrow's another day".
What superhuman power would you most like to have?
I think I would like to be "invisible" Hot and Sexy like "invisable girl" in "Fantastic Four."
What makes you laugh?
My two girls and husband and when men grunt at the gym. What is that all about?
Cats or dogs?
Neither!!!
Would you rather be a little smarter or a little sexier?
Sexier...no doubt about it!!! Come on....whens the last time you saw a guy take a double take of your brain :)
What is the one thing you'll never understand?
Why young teen girls get pregnant and it's their first time having sex and women who are married and try and try just cant. That just irks me!!!
My life would be simpler if?
I had my husband around more to help with the bills, kids and cleaning. Maybe even some offers to babysit from family so that Dave and I can go on dates every once in awhile. (hint, hint!!!)
The big decision I'm currently wrestling with?
Don't have any big decisions to make at the moment.

Not So Fun Friday
It's happening again this weekend. Another weekend cooped in the house. Boring!!! My poor Jasmynn was sick last Friday. We crossed our fingers and as of yesterday we were all in the clear...so we thought. Kaia woke up this morning puking. Poor Kaia...this was her first time puking. She had no idea what was happening. I'm not feeling to hot myself either. Oh, how I hate to be sick! So, it will be another weekend in hiding. Ta-Ta for now!

Tongue Twisting Tuesday
Okay, say that five times real fast.
This is our cheap entertainment. We get a kick out of listening to each other tongue twist. We thought it would be fun to get it on video...so here it is, Jasmynn and mommy making fools of ourselves :)
Do you see that blur up at the left hand corner? Jasmynn spit right into the camera. So funny!!!

A Result Of Many Prayers
Our beautiful result of a prayer.
After having our first daughter we immediately tried to have another child. After 3 years of trying and nothing, we met with a fertility doctor. My husband was good to go but I was not ovulating. We were told there was a medication we could try that would help me ovulate regularly. We passed, we were scared of the meds not working or having multiples which she mentioned was possible but not high. After another year of no success we went back to see another doctor. After talking to her, I was sold. Let me tell you, it was not fun. We could only have sex every other day and at that at the same time. Too stressful...not fun having sex on a schedule. The time had come for me to start, well hopefully not. I took a test, negative. Another week passed, negative. Two years ago November 3, 2005 I had an appointment to get some blood work done and to get a refill on my prescription. I mentioned I had not started yet, so she told me to go to the lab for a pregnancy test just in case. I went back to work afterwards and waited impatiently and said a prayer. 2:30 came around and I made the phone call. Yeah...my prayers were finally answered! I was with child.
Here are a few photos of my pregnancy.
I was big, huh???

A Beautiful Day
Jasmynn loves going to the Pumpkin Patch but hates to carry her own.
Kaia was so mesmerized by the pumpkins and carried hers the entire time.
Dave's the hottest cowboy I've ever seen! (oh, how he's going to kill me when he sees this)
Aren't these the cutest little Jack-o-lanterns you've ever seen?
We went to EZ Orchards last Tuesday. It had to be the one of the most beautiful days of the week. As you can see, I wore a tank top and I was still warm. Had such a great time, except for all the bugs. Dave and Jasmynn complained the entire time through the corn maze, the squishy mud and the fruit flies. What wimps!!!

Saying Good-bye!
This is very hard for me, but it's time to say good bye to an old friend of mine. Some of you might know my "friend".
Here is a little history of our friendship.
She has been there in my lows and highs. She's always nearby if I need her and very truthful. She lets me know if I need to lose a few pounds and she's honest enough to let me know if I should gain a few too. We get together for a few seconds first thing in the morning. We say hello when I wash my hands, brush my teeth and even take a pee or poop. Don't think I'm weird but my favorite visits are after I take a poop. She then tells me "good girl, you lost a pound". We meet a few time more throughout the day and sometimes I meet her for a secret rendezvous in the middle of the night. Do you know my "friend". Let me introduce you...Blogger Friends meet Ms. Health-O-Meter, my scale.
I have made the decision to put her away in a place I can not easily get to. I try to eat right, I exercise, but for some psychotic reason I have to know what I weigh all the time. How awful is that??? I meet with a personal trainer and she was over the other day. As I was confessing my obsession with the scale she looked at me and said, "instead of paying me for training I think you need to pay someone to get over your obsession".
I have been thinking about this the last few days and my biggest concern is what kind of example am I setting for my two daughters I so love and adore. I don't want them to have worry about what society thinks they should look like. I want them to be happy with themselves and their natural beauty and never look back and say "well mom did it".
For this reason and for my own sanity I'm saying "GOOD-BYE OLD FRIEND, DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU ON YOUR WAY OUT!"
Do you have any "friends" you need to say good-bye to?

Finally!
( Sorry, I don't know how to flip the image )
I just have to prove to some of you that she is finally walking (Linnea :). Yes, it only took 16 months for Kaia to figure it out. Such a proud mama!!! However, I think the little booger already knew how to but was just too lazy. I guess I wouldn't walk either if I had everyone always holding, hugging and kissing me.
I love you, Kaia !!!

Say "Cheese"!!!
Jasmynn had a friend over this weekend. They were too cute! They took pictures of each other with Jasmynn's new camera. They ended the night with a sugar high and dancing to "High School Musical". It's amazing how these little girls know all the lyrics to the songs. Oh how I wish I was able to get it on video. The two sure know how to get "jiggy with it".

"You Say, God Says"
My sister sent this to me yesterday in an email. Thought it was worth sharing.
HANDY LITTLE CHART
God has a positive answer:
YOU SAY
GOD SAYS
BIBLE VERSES
1)You say: "It's impossible"
God says: All things are possible
(Luke 18:27)
2)You say: "I'm too tired"
God says: I will give you rest
(Matthew 11:28-30)
3)You say: "Nobody really loves me"
God says: I love you
(John 3:1 6 & John 3:34 )
4)You say: "I can't go on"
God says: My grace is sufficient
(II Corinthians 12:9 & Psalm 91:15)
5)You say: "I can't figure things out"
God says: I will direct your steps
(Proverbs 3:5- 6)
6)You say: "I can't do it"
God says: You can do all things
(Philippians 4:13)
7)You say: "I'm not able"
God says: I am able
(II Corinthians 9:8)
8)You say: "It's not worth it"
God says: It will be worth it
(Roman 8:28 )
9)You say: "I can't forgive myself"
God says: I Forgive you
(I John 1:9 & Romans 8:1)
10)You say: "I can't manage"
God says: I will supply all your needs
(Philippians 4:19)
11)ou say: "I'm afraid"
God says: I have not given you a spirit of fear
(II Timothy 1:7)
12)You say: "I'm always worried and frustrated"
God says: Cast all your cares on ME
(I Peter 5:7)
13)You say: "I'm not smart enough"
God says: I give you wisdom
(I Corinthians 1:30)
14)You say: "I feel all alone"
God says: I will never leave you or forsake you
(Hebrews 13:5)
I really struggle with #12 I'm a worry wart and easily lose my patience and become very frustrated and end up with anxiety. In my Bible it says, (I Peter 5:7) "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you". How awesome is that?
Enjoy!!!

"WOW " TO W.O.F ! ! !
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.
I had an amazing weekend! Being my first time at "Women of Faith", I just didn't know what to expect. Wow...loved it!!!
I got to share this experience with two of my very good friends.
We cried, laughed, and tried to take it all in. It was such a spiritual experience and loved every minute of it. These women's stories were heart filling and just made me think, "Hey, my life isn't that bad" and also gave me this overwhelming want to go back home and be a better wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend and most of all a better follower of God. It's he who has given me these amazing "titles".
I'm so glad I chose to go. I've heard such great things about it, but for those of you who don't know me, I suffer from a bit of social anxiety. Thanks to my good friend "Zoloft", I got to experience my first of many "Women of Faith" conferences, and have reserved my tickets for next year!
Thanks Jessica and Jade!!!

Tootles For Now!
Good morning ladies!
I'm saying "tootles" to blog land for a few days. I'm going on a much needed time away with a couple friends.
We are going to the " Women of Faith" Conference up in Portland. We are so excited. It will be our first time for all three of us. We plan to make it a girls weekend out of it, dinner , hotel and of course, our fill of "Starbucks".
Are any of you ladies going and have you ever been before??? I'd love to hear your comments on your experience there.
Have a great weekend!!!

This is for you, Glory Laine
This morning was my 6 month check up and cleaning at the dentist.
It's confirmed! Dr. Gyno any old day over Mr.Plaque.
Three main reasons:
- One quick scrape vs. 10 minutes of scraping and drooling.
- One tool inside vs. three or more (scraper, water squirter, mirror and so on)
- One visit a year vs. twice a year.
Pretty sad when I'm wishing I was in stirrups rather than the dentist chair.

Guilty!
Yesterday morning began with a very cold morning, but I had a garage full of things to sell. By 9am my garage sale was set to go. At 10:30 my sister and I came to the conclusion that a big $5 in 1 hour and a half was not worth the cold breeze hitting us in the face. Seriously...we looked like idiots out there. We decided to close up shop.
I was in such a hurry to get everything in before that one person out of no where showed up to browse. We, or should I say myself was going at a million miles a minute. One last table to bring in and then it happened. Oh!!! I just couldn't bare to see it. My sister and I just stared at each other. "What should I do" almost in tears by this moment. She said, "Ona, what were you thinking...I told you to slow down". She suggested we go to Target and blame a runaway shopping cart. I told her I just had to tell Dave, so I went inside to face the consequences. As I entered, my husband was in a very bad mood, stressed tired and raising his voice. My response, "Honey, let me take the girls and leave you alone to relax for awhile". We headed off to Target! Can you guess what I said when we got home?
"Dave, don't get mad, I just don't know how it happened but the car", that's as far as I got and he was in the garage.
"------- people, mother -------, Idiots and so on and so on. I couldn't tell him the truth, I just couldn't. I felt horrible! I'm lying to my husband, but at the same time I was saving my butt.
The night went on, we were both not in the best moods. But before bed he looked at me and apologized for the way he treated me the last few day and told me he loved me. That did it!!! I cant do this...I can't keep it a secret. I lost it and and ever so shyly said, "I'm the idiot". "What are you talking about", he asked. "I did it", and started tearing up. "You hit the car" he asked.
I pleaded guilty!!!
He told me he loved me and was sorry he had made me feel that I needed to lie to him.
Never again will I lie. I'm such a sucker for his "I love you's".

"How Much"?
"How much does this cost", is the question of the day. Today I had a garage sale! It's alot of work trying to keep a straight face when someone offers a $1 for $25 item that has never been used.
It took me back to my retail days. "Hi, how are you"? and what do you as the consumer usually say? "I'm just looking", that's great but that's not what I asked. Others, on the other hand just want someone to talk to.
By having a garage sale , I met alot of great people! I had one two weeks ago, made enough money for Xmas and little something for myself. The best thing is that I got the opportunity to meet my neighbors. I have lived here for almost 5 years and not met any of my neighbors. I met a neighbor across the street that many of you know. What a coincidence!!! (I would add her link, but like I admitted...I'm computer illiterate).
So, not only did I get to meet some cool people, I got to buy a "watch". Not just any watch but a "Garmin Forerunner GPS" watch. I was turned on to this watch by my good friend Jessica. I began running a few months ago and am loving it. This watch tells me my calories burned, distance, average and best time per mile and much, much more!
So, I have to ask myself "How much"?
My answer, "Much, much worth it"!

"Newby"
Okay...so here I finally am entering into the world of blogging.
I can't wait to share my feeling and thoughts and especially show off my two beautiful girls and husband of almost 13 years. I have failed at keeping up with baby books, so, this will give me a chance to document my proud moments and share my lows as well.
But first...please, I need help! I have no idea how to make my page as creative as the ones I read. If anyone has a any secrets or helpful hints, please let me know.
One more request!
I'll be the first to admit that I am a horrible speller. Just humor me:)
