14th Anniversary
Happy 14th Anniversary Dave....I love you!!!
(Today, we will celebrate our Anniversary with four hyped up little girls. I cross my fingers, that I will be able to get the girls down for a short nap all together and have a few moments with my hubby) Wish me luck!
Fourteen years ago today, my father sang this on my wedding day!
Wanted to share the lyrics.
ADAM'S SIDE
BY JESSE WILSON
FROM ADAM’S SIDE GOD FORMED HIS BRIDE
BEAUTIFUL AS COULD BE
AND STANDING HERE BESIDE YOU
I SEE HE’S DONE THE SAME FOR ME
I WAITED SUCH A LONG TIME
AND CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S TRUE
THAT BY MY SIDE GOD’S PLACED A BRIDE
A S BEAUTIFUL AS YOU
VERSE
THERE WERE TIME WHEN MY IMPATIENT HEART
DIDN’T WANT TO WAIT FOR YOU
IT JUST SEEMED LIKE YOU WOULD NEVER COME
AND I DIDN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO
I ALMOST GAVE UP WAITING
AND STARTED LOOKING ON MY OWN
BUT THEN THE LORD BROUGHT YOU TO ME
FLESH OF MY FLESH AND BONE OF MY BONE
CHORUS
VERSE
I PROMISE THAT YOU WILL ALWAYS BE
A TREASURE IN MY HEART
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD SO TENDERLY
TILL DEATH DO US PART
WITH THIS RING I PLEDGE TO YOU
A NEVER ENDING LOVE
THAT WILL CARRY YOU THROUGH ALL WE DO
TILL WE REACH OUR HOME ABOVE
CHORUS
TAG
I WAITED SUCH A LONG TIME
AND I CANT BELIEVE IT’S TRUE
THAT BY MY SIDE GODS PLACED A BRIDE
AS BEAUTIFUL AS YOU

Saying "hello"
Life has been a bit crazy around the Wolcott House! I'm hoping to get into the groove of things and get into the holiday spirit. I'm hoping to wrap some presents, however, I hesitate a bit. My curious Kaia is a sure thing to unwrap whatever she may see under the tree.
Anybody done shopping? I think I am for the most part.
Just wanted to say "HI" and hope everyone is doing well!
Happy Holidays!

Entrepreneur...taking a leap!
As most of you know, I'm a stay home mom. Lately, I have been thinking of ways I can contribute a bit more. My husband works very hard and I like to spend.
Watching my nieces is a start and I took one more step in earning a little extra cash.
I decided to be a Scentsy consultant myself. I love the stuff....and it sells itself!
Again, these candles are wickless and flameless candles/wax that burn in a beautiful warmer! There are many different styles to choose from that match any decor.
You can preview a catalog at www.scentsy.com/onalisa.
I'm really excited and hope you gals check it out! Makes for great Christmas gifts and adds to any home.
Please let me know if you would be interested in hosting a party and earning free products:)

Just Blabbing
I have been slacking in so many areas of my life it seems. I can't believe we are almost in the middle of November. I feel like I skipped these last few weeks.
Some changes I'm adjusting to.
I began watching two of my nieces...four girls to manage in the morning! Wow, big adjustment. I love them dearly, sadly one doesn't seem to like it here too much. To her I'm just a mean Auntie!!!
Kaia is not digging the fact that she has to share. I am truly working on this.
Since I have little girls so early in the morning, the only chance I have now days to get any kind of a workout is waking up at five. Maybe that's not early to many of you, but for me it's brutal. I wake up at five, push snooze one or two times and out the door to the gym.
I'm slacking in the cleaning department...it's never ending!
Last month, I forgot my nephews birthday(so, sorry again!)
Eating habits are horrible. I'm admitting to not knowing how to cook very well, the less ingredients, the better. If any of you have some family favorites that are healthy and easy..please share!
I need to lose about 15lbs by February....I'm going to Maui, WOO-HOO!!!! I would really like to wear a bikini.
Oh...and Jasmynn was sick again and this time on Halloween. The poor girl missed out on the Harvest Party and Trick or Treating.
I will end this randomness with a few pictures:)
One more thing....I missed one nephews already, can't miss another!
Happy Birthday Isaiah!
(tomorrow, that is)

Yuck!
That's how I have been feeling the last couple days. I keep getting ready for a new day and I'm just pushing myself.
So, I'm taking a break. As much as I can that is.
Why can't mothering be on pause just for a few hours so I can get better?
Oh well...that's life.
Hope everyone else is having a good Wednesday!

26.2 whoo-hoo!!!
Today, I'm recovering from finishing my first marathon. My friend Donelle and I ran the Portland Marathon. It was an amazing feeling. A year ago, I would have never guessed I could have done this. With several different running partners, I did it!
My husband and his buddy cheered my on.
Here are some pictures he took along the way.
I finished in 4:44 and 35 seconds.
My proud husband!
He said he teared up a couple times....so sweet!
I know...this is very gross, but I just had to show what 26.2 miles does to a foot:(
I'm hoping to get a pedicure this week.
Jasmynn accomplished a jog-a-thon a few days ago.
She was given a medal at the end of her jog!
Funny thing...I told her I was proud of her and she responded,"this is fake, see, the medal says it's made in China." She cracks my up

Thanks
Today, one year ago, I started my blog with a little convincing from Meghan. Glad I did...it's been fun.
Thank you all for visiting and leaving comments.
I'm leaving you with a quote...I'll explain later!
Feet fail me not
This may be the only opportunity that I got
--Eminem
Bye for now:)

Sleeping...
Just wanted to give a little update on last weeks decision.
We are all so much happier and sleeping better!
Kaia is so content in her crib. She's back to taking a two hour nap and sleeping 10-11 hours at night:)
It was so worth putting the crib back up, she completely did a 180 and a much happier person to be around with.
I just had to take a picture of this.
Jasmynn and Kaia playing under the kitchen table.
Amazing how they can be entertained by the simplest things.

Not Too Fast Mom...
Lesson learned, don't change what works.
Kaia was on a great sleeping schedule, great naps and sleeping through the night. However, stupid mommy thought I'd speed things up a bit and put her in a big girl bed.
The excitement of a new bed for her lasted maybe a couple days. Since then there has been many sleepless nights and a very grouchy two year old.
I couldn't take it anymore!
Little Kaia is back in a crib!
Last night I got myself a Starbucks coffee, went to MOPS and then came home to put a crib together.
Can you guess what I'm listening to at this very moment? Just the taps of a keyboard blogging, because Kaia is sound asleep in her crib for a much needed nap!
The little girl just wants to stay a baby a little bit longer...and I'm okay with that:)

Crazy Lady @ The Bridal Shop!
As some of you know, my baby sister is getting married. Yay, for her and a bit of a bummer for me.
My 10 year anniversary came and went and Dave and I swore for our 15th Anniversary next year we would renew our vows on the beach of Maui. Well, my sister has decided to get married in Hawaii as well. Of course I'll be there, however, Dave and I will probably have to wait for our trip. My sister mentioned she wouldn't mind us renewing our vows at the same time since our family will be there anyway. Nice gesture, but, wouldn't do that to her.
Okay back to the story....
Today my mom, sister and I went wedding dress shopping. Oh my gosh...you would have thought I was the bride. So many beautiful dresses. Some of you have seen my big fluffy dress in a previous blog. I just wanted to see what I would look like in something more modern.
My mom said "go ahead, the lady knows your renewing your vows, she won't mind."
No!:)
Okay!!! It didn't take long to change my mind.
My mom picked out a hair piece and viola....Crazy Lady in the room!

Go Cowboys!!!
It's officially Football Season!
It's kinda funny, but today at church our pastor asked us to raise our hands if we were NFL Fans. He then asked us to raise our hands if we were NFL "widows."
Guilty!!!
For a few months we will say "good bye daddy and hubby". See you on Superbowl Day!
I guess I can call it a "temporary seperation":)

Oh My Word!
First day of school...first day of many hairs being pulled out of my head!
I love her dearly, but honestly...why does she insist in arguing about every little thing?
This is some of the clothes she denied this morning. We had her outfit picked out last night. This morning...she just wasn't having it! I let her pick out all her clothes this year and she still complains.
Here she's letting me have it.
Making some progress...we're in the car!
