My baby is two!
It's amazing to see how much she has grown into a little girl this past year. Yesterday, as I rocked her and read a story for nap, I looked down at her cute little face. Tears of joy and sadness rolled down my face. It saddens me to know she may not want me to rock her much longer or call for mommy not once but twice a night.
Yes, she's a big girl and is developing into quite the character.
Here's a slide show of her last year.
Happy Birthday Kaia...you will always be my baby girl!

Yee-ha!!!
My hunny and I got an evening away and went to the "Tim Mc Graw Concert." We had a great time. However, it was extremely cold and I was wearing a "hoochie mama" outfit. Na... it wasn't that bad, just not enough fabric to keep me warm:)
And I just have to say.."Goodnness, Tim is so hot!!!!" Faith is one lucky woman.
Today, Kaia went to see Nikki for her first haircut. More of a trim than a cut since we are trying to grow it out.
Kaia sat so calmly.
First clip.
I mentioned to Nikki that I didn't straighten my hair until I was in my thirties. This will be a one time thing. I don't have enough time to add this into my schedule. Sorry baby girl!
Ta-da!!!
I was really dreading taking her in for a haircut thinking she would freak out. Next week she turns two and I just had to do it. So glad this was a good experience for the both of us. She really surprised me in how good and calm she was.
Next step is getting her to keep a hair clip in:)

SOME PICS VISITING THE CHUPIKS
We're back!
We had such a great time and couldn't have asked for better hosts. The Chupiks opened their home to us so graciously.
We got a chance to relax and get a bit of exercise with all the walking around we did. It was just a fun time to get the girls out of town and visit with friends.
We did struggle with sleeping issues. Kaia just not go to sleep in the pack-n-play till the second night and she was back in the bed with Dave and I on the third.
Oh well...I knew better:)
After three wonderful days of shopping and stuffing our faces, Jasmynn ended up with the flu.
Our car trip was a rough one. She wasn't able to keep anything down...my poor girl.
I guess I should be thankful that it happened at the end of our visit.
I went a little over board on the pictures.
Dave and I had to have our coffee fix and so we began our visit to Pike Place Market with a visit into Starbucks.
The first Starbucks!
We continued our day on the monorail and went to Seattle Center. We walked around the Heart of Seattle and visited the Pacific Science Center. In the picture above, Kaia is holding a millipede at one of the exhibits there and we continued into the Tropical Butterfly House. The butterflies were just amazing.
This is just one of many pictures I took.
The girls had a blast running from the water at the International Fountain.
Jasmynn was ready to pose on demand. She is so photogenic.
Molly and I taking pictures on the ride home.
Poor Kaia was pooped and passed out on the monorail.
Here we are on the Pier. Holy moly it took work to get this picture. Kids are such wiggle worms.
Molly, Gary, Josiah, Zachary and Sarah
Thank you so much for your hospitality and friendship. We had am awesome time!
Love

Whew...it's been a long two weeks!
The past two weeks have been a bit crazy around here!
Two weekends ago my sister-in-law and her family stayed with us for a few days. They were living in San Diego and then moved to Austin, Texas. Unfortunately, my family has not seen them for about a year.
I met my nephew for the first time. He's so adorable and so is his big brother.
Here are a few pics of the boys.
Then last Tuesday, was Jasmynn's last day of school.
On her last day of school they got to enjoy Field Day. They had indoor and outdoor activities, but the big blow up slide was her favorite. Wish I could have tried it:)
This last Friday was Relay For Life. My family, friends and I had a great time. It was a perfect day for walking. Well, most of the time....it did get pretty darn hot there for awhile.
This was my third year participating in this event.
Hey...and if you didn't get a chance to donate, it's not too late.
Continuing on. It was Jasmynn's last t-ball game this last Saturday. Yay...I'm so glad to be done and so is she. We all went to DQ for dessert and awards.
Kaia is sporting off her backpack. She carried her diaper, wipes and crackers to church this morning. I couldn't resist this picture.
And here is Kaia passing out at the dinner table. Miss little attitude has been fighting naptime! Not fun for anyone in the Wolcott home. She was fighting it all afternoon and then zonked out just like that. Unfortunallly, she woke up as soon as I put her in her crib. I was hoping she would sleep till morning. Ya right!
The fun doesn't end there. I am off to finish packing for a few days in Bothell, Washington. We are visiting the Chupiks. It should be fun!
Pray for a well behaved, sleep deprived little girl. Please!!!

Little Miss Evel Knievel
This weekend we took Kaia out for first tricycle ride. She was so excited until she realized she had to do the work.
Lazy girl!
In this picture she just thinks she's so cool!
Okay...she's getting into the groove of things
Ummm...not liking it so much anymore! This is about when I let go and wasn't pushing her along anymore.
And here...well she's had it.
After a few minutes of pushing she was confident enough to speed race to the street. Well, she refused to get back on the sidewalk. Five, ten minutes later we called it a day!
This is going to be a fun ride for all of us :)
